New Hire Requirements

Documents:

• W-4
• I-9 and supporting documents
• State of Washington Health Card (copy)
• Washington State Liquor Control Board Servers Permit, (copy, over 18 years)
• Serve Safe Certificate (Managers)

Uniform:

• Black dress pants or "dockers", no jeans.
• White, collared, button down, wrinkle free, long sleeve shirt.
• Black shoes, non slip soles, closed toe and black socks.
• Black bistro apron (provided by Cafe Veloce)
• Tie (no Seasonal or Cartoon ties unless provided by Cafe Veloce)
• Minimal Jewelry, it must not interfere with hand washing or be a distraction to the customer.
• Hair below the shoulders must be pulled back.
• No chipped nail polish. If nail polish is worn, gloves must be used every time you handle food.

Tools:

• 1 dozen pens
• 1 sharpie
• Wine bottle opener, (Servers and Managers)
• Thermometer (Manager, Pantry)
• $45.00 bank, small bills and coins (Servers and Managers)
